When shipping to warm weather locations we use re-usable and recyclable Styrofoam coolers with ice gel packs added as protection. Grocer's Daughter Chocolate is perched on the side of a forested dune in the quaint Lake Michigan beachfront village of Empire, 20 miles west of Traverse City. You will find us at 12020 S. Leelanau Highway (M-22 1/4 of a mile south of the blinker from M-72).

We invite you to stop by, say hello and see the production site. We offer you tastes of our products, information about chocolate and to view the chocolatier's photo journey to Ecuador. Hours

• May through September: Monday - Saturday from 10 am to 7 pm; Sunday from Noon to 6 pm.
• October through December: Monday - Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm; Sunday from Noon to 5 pm.
• January through April: Please call.

Group classes can be scheduled by contacting us via email or by phone.

Chocolate Classes

Call to schedule a chocolate tasting class for your family, friends or a group of co-workers. We also offer truffle-making classes. Gift Certificates available for classes. You can also check Northwest Michigan College's Adult Education Culinary classes in Traverse City. We offer three-hour classes here every semester.
